New Conference Line
I find some of the dumbest things entertaining…and wouldn’t want it any other way.
A little back story: so my friends and I are visiting London in about a month and needed to finalize some details on where we are staying and what not. No big deal, we’ll just all call each other and figure it out.
Now, Brett and Alex are not iPhone users and were not aware of the conference call/joining feature to make mini conference calls, so I volunteer to set up the call for us.
This gives me the bright idea to make my own “automated greeting” for them to join with. Something like the greeting I hear almost daily (“Welcome to the call, please enter your pin… yada yada yada.)
If you don’t know what I’m talking about it’s basically an automated greeting that makes you enter a code/pin to access conference calls (GoToMeeting, ReadyConference, ect.).
The following video is me greeting them with a free text to speech program from AT&T labs I set up with three sentences just prior for “my conference line”.
Brett tricks the system and I let him in but Alex (through laughter) gives in. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.
